Nesse v\u00eddeo vamos mostrar a t\u00e9cnica de seda\u00e7\u00e3o, indu\u00e7\u00e3o e manuten\u00e7\u00e3o anest\u00e9sica em iguanas verdes (<em>Iguana iguana<\/em>), al\u00e9m da monitora\u00e7\u00e3o b\u00e1sica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Os lagartos, e r\u00e9pteis em geral, t\u00eam algumas particularidades na anestesia, principalmente por serem animais ectot\u00e9rmicos, ou seja, eles obt\u00e9m calor do meio ambiente (Sol ou fonte de calor) para manter a temperatura corp\u00f3rea. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Devemos lembrar tamb\u00e9m que h\u00e1 diferen\u00e7as dos r\u00e9pteis em rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0s aves e mam\u00edferos em rela\u00e7\u00e3o no sistema cardiovascular, principalmente na anatomia card\u00edaca. Dependendo dos animais o septo interventricular card\u00edaco n\u00e3o \u00e9 completo, permitindo que haja shunt card\u00edaco, direito ou esquerdo, a depender das condi\u00e7\u00f5es externas. Por\u00e9m, isso \u00e9 muito mais importante em quel\u00f4nios e menos importante nas cobras, lagartos e crocodilianos, sendo que esse \u00faltimo grupo tem o septo completo. Os pulm\u00f5es tamb\u00e9m s\u00e3o diferentes, quando comparados aos mam\u00edferos, sendo saculados.<\/p><div id=\"advads-973028450\" class=\"advads-adsense-in-article advads-entity-placement\"><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-9687921986569993\" crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script><ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display:block; text-align:center;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-9687921986569993\" \ndata-ad-slot=\"1211285291\" \ndata-ad-layout=\"in-article\"\ndata-ad-format=\"fluid\"><\/ins>\n<script> \n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); \n<\/script>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"medicacao-pre-anestesica\">Medica\u00e7\u00e3o Pr\u00e9-anest\u00e9sica <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Nessa iguana utilizamos midalozam (2mg\/kg, IM) para fazer a seda\u00e7\u00e3o. Os <a href=\"http:\/\/nave.vet.br\/en\/video-aulas\/basico\/mpa-1-anestesia-e-o-basico\/\" class=\"rank-math-link\" target=\"_self\">benzodiazep\u00ednicos<\/a> s\u00e3o excelentes sedativos em lagartos e essa dose \u00e9 bem segura. Ap\u00f3s 5 minutos j\u00e1 conseguimos perceber seda\u00e7\u00e3o e com aproximadamente 15 minutos os animais ficam bem sedados. N\u00f3s geralmente avaliamos seda\u00e7\u00e3o por escala comportamental, verificando abertura de olhos, altura de cabe\u00e7a, t\u00f4nus muscular e reflexo de endireitamento. Escala de seda\u00e7\u00e3o baseada em comportamentos de iguanas verdes (Bressan et al., 2019).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"inducao-manutencao\">Indu\u00e7\u00e3o\/Manuten\u00e7\u00e3o<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">A <a href=\"http:\/\/nave.vet.br\/en\/video-aulas\/basico\/anestesia-inalatoria\/\" class=\"rank-math-link\" target=\"_self\">indu\u00e7\u00e3o anest\u00e9sica<\/a> por m\u00e1scara facial ou c\u00e2mara anest\u00e9sica \u00e9 bem f\u00e1cil. Nesse v\u00eddeo utilizamos entre 5-6V% de sevoflurano. Poder\u00edamos ter usado isoflurano, mas preferimos usar o primeiro devido \u00e0 velocidade de indu\u00e7\u00e3o e recupera\u00e7\u00e3o. Ap\u00f3s cerca de 3 minutos j\u00e1 conseguimos intubar o animal. Utilizamos uma sonda 2.0, sem balonete. Devemos lembrar que os repteis n\u00e3o tem epiglote, tornando mais f\u00e1cil a intuba\u00e7\u00e3o (Fig. 3). Com ele conseguimos auscultar a FC e a intensidade do fluxo (Fig 4). Tamb\u00e9m podemos obter o tra\u00e7ado eletrocardiogr\u00e1fico com o ECG, que tamb\u00e9m vai nos dar a FC. Ela tamb\u00e9m pode ser obtida com a oximetria (Fig 4). Nesse caso, a oximetria n\u00e3o \u00e9 muito fidedigna pois a pele do animal n\u00e3o \u00e9 prop\u00edcia para isso. O melhor seria utilizarmos um sensor de transflect\u00e2ncia ou colocarmos o sensor na l\u00edngua do animal. Ainda que possamos ver uma curva de capnografia, temos que lembrar que ela n\u00e3o \u00e9 muito fidedigna pois estamos usando um circuito n\u00e3o reinalat\u00f3rio. Tamb\u00e9m monitoramos a temperatura, com um term\u00f4metro esof\u00e1gico. A press\u00e3o arterial n\u00e3o invasiva pode ser avaliada pela cauda do animal, com aux\u00edlio de um manguito, como fazemos em pequenos animais. Utilizamos um manguito com aproximadamente 50% da circunfer\u00eancia da cauda do animal. Por\u00e9m, nesse v\u00eddeo n\u00e3o conseguimos valores de press\u00e3o. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"recuperacao-anestesica\">Recupera\u00e7\u00e3o Anest\u00e9sica <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>A recupera\u00e7\u00e3o anest\u00e9sica em repteis submetidos \u00e0 anestesia inalat\u00f3ria \u00e9 bem tranquila. Os animais voltam da anestesia ap\u00f3s 20-30 minutos e s\u00e3o totalmente dependentes da temperatura corporal.
