Neste v\u00eddeo, mostramos a anestesia intratecal em tartarugas de orelha vermelha (<em>Trachemys scripta elegans<\/em>). Este procedimento tem sido usado para cirurgias na cauda, \u200b\u200bcloaca, reto e membros posteriores das tartarugas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A anestesia espinhal em r\u00e9pteis \u00e9 um pouco diferente da de mam\u00edferos porque os r\u00e9pteis n\u00e3o tem espa\u00e7o subaracnoide. Assim, eles t\u00eam duas meninges: a membrana externa \u00e9 a dura-m\u00e1ter e a membrana interna a leptomeninge, sendo que o l\u00edquido cefalorraquidiano flui entre elas. Portanto, n\u00f3s falamos anestesia intratecal em r\u00e9pteis ao inv\u00e9s de anestesia peridural. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A medula espinhal dos r\u00e9pteis se estende at\u00e9 a ponta da cauda e eles n\u00e3o possuem cauda equina. Al\u00e9m disso, em muitas esp\u00e9cies de r\u00e9pteis a medula espinhal preenche apenas uma parte do canal espinhal, com at\u00e9 50% do canal dispon\u00edvel em algumas esp\u00e9cies. Para realizar esta t\u00e9cnica, podemos puncionar qualquer espa\u00e7o intervertebral ap\u00f3s antissepsia. <\/p><div id=\"advads-509951804\" class=\"advads-adsense-in-article advads-entity-placement\"><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-9687921986569993\" crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script><ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display:block; text-align:center;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-9687921986569993\" \ndata-ad-slot=\"1211285291\" \ndata-ad-layout=\"in-article\"\ndata-ad-format=\"fluid\"><\/ins>\n<script> \n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); \n<\/script>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>O tamanho da agulha e seringa devem ser selecionadas de acordo com o tamanho do animal. Costumamos usar agulha de insulina em seringa de 1mL. Ap\u00f3s a perfura\u00e7\u00e3o, avan\u00e7amos a agulha no canal espinhal em um \u00e2ngulo de 30 a 45 graus. \u00c0s vezes podemos ver o l\u00edquido cefalorraquidiano chegando \u00e0 seringa. N\u00e3o h\u00e1 problema. Um pouco de sangue tamb\u00e9m pode sair. Se uma quantidade excessiva de sangue for aspirada, a agulha deve ser reposicionada at\u00e9 que n\u00e3o seja mais aspirado sangue. Podemos definir o volume dos anest\u00e9sicos com base no comprimento do animal, sendo 0,1mL a 5cm de comprimento da carapa\u00e7a (0,05mL a 1 polegada), produzindo um bloqueio motor da cauda e da cloaca, ou 0,2mL a 5cm de comprimento da carapa\u00e7a (0 ,1mL a 1 polegada), produzindo bloqueio motor nos membros posteriores.
